short term memory lost

i think i have short term memory lost.
i cant seem to remember what happened in this past few years.
i cant remember anything from when i was just a little kid.
i cant remember anything in the past.
not as in like yesterday but in years punya terms.
but the funny thing is i can remember the stories from story books.
maybe i just love story books too much.
its just so nice reading.
i don't understand people who only read TWO books in their entire life.
