Not the round balls but the prom type balls. Actually, my pocket not really full of Balls rite now. Only got two. Friday night's was the Canterbury + Lincoln Christian Ball and saturday's night was my hall of residence ball. I went to the friday's one but not the saturday one.
Why? surely many of you will ask. Well...there are a number of reasons. 1st of all I was tooo malas. Just too malas to do anything. I would have to get dress up for the ball. Then there'll be Drinking and Dancing. I don't like to drink and i don't quite like dancing. Another big important factor was that I didn't know anybody at the hall at that time the invitation was sent out, so i didn't want to go and stand there looking like a dungu. I wanted to stay in my room and enjoy the tranquility. Yupz so thats the story.
I went to friday's ball though. Cost me $30 (saturday's was free but still...) I went to ICF with Jas and Meryl all dress up. I wore my baju kebaya, Jas wore a grey skirt n a black top and Meryl wore a black dress. Both of them were wearing heels. But I smart I wore the hush puppies shoe. It does't look that nice but at least my feet was warm. At ICF pulak, there was no hot drinks coz the ball was starting at 7.30pm. We took pictures before going off. Audrey was so proud of us.

We were just studying about Marriage and Nilu started practicing..We went in
Yani's car. When we arrived there it was still very early. We were the very first ones there. Funny! N it seems that the ball was suppose to start at 7.30pm, I'm pretty sure we were on time. Not early. I guess we're just more punctual. the internationals have influence the nationals. lol. Gen and Jen forced us to dance! I don't think I did a good job.
An example..But all in all, I had a not bad time..It was my first ever ball and it was interesting to watch people. Now I know what a ball is supposed to be like. I guess a more normal ball will be with a lot of drinking and drunk people. Let me entertain you with more pictures..

Merilyn and EmmaWell, I found out that usually there'll be an after-party after a ball is held. Its actually the after party that people look forward to not the ball. They would go Drinking and Dancing.
One thing I want to announce - I've lost my clubbing virginity as Liyana puts it. I went clubbing with Anu, Liyana and Jasmine on Saturday night after Jasmine came back from the ball. We went to Holy Grail in the city. took the taxi to and fro from here. oh we drank a bit before going out. we = anu jas emma. i think that was the first ever time that i properly drank alcohol. i got a headache after drinking it. i guess i drank too fast. it was brandy + orange juice. but it was an interesting experience =)
That was saturday. On sunday there was a 'friendly' football competition between ICF and CU. ICF won 4-3 i think. according to audrey.. because the football thing was at 2.30pm we (mer n i) decided to attend the 10am service. we arrived late because mer woke up late and it was really weird. we miss the whole worship :(( but there was a bit of worship after the sermon which was good :).
After church, we went shopping..I want to put pictures up here but mer's camera went cacated. so cannot take pics n show u guys what i bought. i will update though the next time. i spent quite alot. but that will be another post. + the pictures, hopefully.
On tuesday night i had AFIS 151 test - commercial law. We were allowed to bring in the legislation but it wasnt of much use!! I had quite a good two hour test. well at least i knew enough to be able to write for the whole two hours. lol!
on wednesday night pulak, i went to comp lab to kononnya study while anu, liyana n jas did their case study. i managed to read all of my notes on IS coz i had a test tonight. it was quite fun. it felt so familiar - the setting i mean. it felt like i was back home.. i love the atmosphere. cool.. i ate dinner with them on one of the nights this week. it was really good of them to 'welcome' me into their group. well, im not not sure whether m i welcome or not but i'll just assume i am. muahahha. i also hanged out with anu n liyana on sat waiting for jas to come back. cool..
i didn't go for breakfast this whole week but i will try to go tomoro morning. if i can wake up. i've been sleeping late coz have to 'study' mah.. so cannot wake up loh the next morning.
today was a good day too. except for the test bit. i had class at 8am!! so sleepy.. after class i had an hour break before my next tutorial so went with archana to the library to borrow movies. i managed to borrow 3 =) wonderful. all due on 31st August. Merdeka! then went out makan vietnamese food with meryl. came back slept until 5.30pm. reviewed a bit of notes then go for dinner. went for test. wonderfully (not!), the test got postpone (postphone?) until 7.25pm. original time was 7pm. but i came out early coz i didn't know anything. don't look shock. but its the truth. i spent 'all' the time reading law. but i managed to crap a bit. i just hope i pass.
i only got 32/50 for my mgmt test. hopeless. i know. i should study more. i have so much more to blog about but i wouldnt want to bore u more so i'll end this with a song:
