I was using my mother's son N70 phone because my previous phone is cacated.
I haven't been updating for quite a while already. The main reason is of course that I am just plain lazy and kind of busy.
I went to help Agape Chapel (a church in Kota Damansara, my cousin's church) with their VBS (Vacation Bible School) for two days. Friday and Saturday. I was awake at 6.45am for both of the days and went to bed at around 10pm. With a standard deviation of 30 minutes. I was in charge of 5 kids. 2 females and 3 males. Age 3 to 4. Imagine how tiring can it be? On the first day two kids vomited.
However, it was quite fun. We got to learn new songs. Have to teach En :) For me, the hardest activity to control was their nap time. Imagine 34 children and 2 small rooms. Asking everybody to keep quiet is tough. When one cries for the 'kakak' two other ones also start crying. Another thing I notice is that I think almost of the children present has a 'kakak'. Kakak actually means sister but this is what kids are taught to call their maids.
I tried to take a picture with my group but it is very blur. I am super duper disappointed about it. :((
On Thursday, Yan Ling came over and we went to Mid Valley to look for shoes. I finally bought a shoe. Quite proud of myself. We watched Wendy Wu that night. We were actually laughing throughout the movie. Yan Ling stayed over until Saturday. She was helping with VBS too. Kesian her. For the first day, she stank (i'm pretty sure that is so so wrong) with vomit.
Yesterday, Mummy, Lai Mei, Yin, Aunty Yit Min and I went to Taman Aman (a park). To 'exercise'. As usual I was lazy. So was Aunty Yit Min. We walked for a while. About 1/4 of the real round. We saw people catching prawns from the dirty pond.
