Friends:

7. (colloquial, ironic, used only in the vocative) Used as a form of address when warning someone.

   You’d better watch it, friend.

I didn't know friends meant so many stuff. Interesting. Its hard to define what a friend is. Who is your friend? Who will never be your friend? Your acquaintance? Who can you confide in? Who can you not say anything to? Who can you joke with? Who must you be serious with?
