Taxation

Guess what? I was learning about tax in accounts and I found out that I have been tax at 39% (highest rate) for my interest at the bank. My savings accounts has interest credited to me and im being tax for that. New Zealand love to tax everything to get money. This is because I did not give them my IRD number. So I think if i applied for the number and give it to the bank, I would only be charged 19.5%!! which is so little compared to the 39%. Imagine all my money gone uneccessarily. (i'm sure i've spelled that wrong) anyway, the lecturer mention that you can claim the difference back but it will take a long time. Well, I've got time. But i have to doubly make sure first that I can get it back and that i will be tax at a lower rate before i go through all the ma-fhan stuff. :)

I also sent an email with the same title :) i keep grinning coz its just so plain funny.

my dad complained to my mum that i keep talking about church stuff only.

i am staying back for the summer in year 2007. my parents don't want me. sad. not really. i have accepted the fact that im staying here for the summer. next year. i hope i can get a flat for next year though.

i've got nothing much to talk about. i'm just waiting for time to past until icf. there's laser strike tonight which i don't know what it is about. something like paint balls i think. then next saturday got a picnic and walk!! =) yay! aiyak i'll miss brunch i think. maybe not..oh well..

im wondering whether to take bag or not to icf.

im chatting with guat lin and hue jin. they're telling me 'news'. but nothing new.. maybe i should call mummy. i want to arrange my music but im so malas.

mooncake festival is coming!! i want to play with lanterns and eat mooncake. mummy u rajin enough to send me mooncake or not? u haven't sent me anything at all. all my friends at least got something from their home except me :( i shouldn't be complaining rite since u're paying for all of this.

oh well..

so think about tax!
