i went to the Young Adult Group yesterday night. It was quite fun except for the fact that everything was in Mandarin. I understood some of the context though =) which was good.... Also, they forgot to have an English study so somebody had to translate for me :D well sometimes i felt quite malu that i don't know any chinese. but at least i know how to speak hokkien. mandarin and cantonese: i can understand only. but only the basics. like if they translate salvation grace and all that stuff into chinese i would go ?!@#$%$#@!? wouldn't you?? if u were like me la..
most of them are from taiwan. of course ler mandarin mah.. there were quite a few malaysians. there was Adrian who was the advisor (he was the one who translated), Albert, Grace, Eric (i think) and another girl and guy. if im not mistaken. it was fun to be with them. i know i shouldnt have felt this way but the group that i was with had trouble translating stuff to english for me and it was funny to me. however, they did really try to make an effort. they spoke in english too. tried too anywayz. we were studying Joseph. i can remember the story. colourful coat. hated by brothers. helped the king. in the end brothers bowed down to him like he first predicted. well not all was remembered, i rememberd the last sentence after i read the passage again =)
just now all four of use went to BP to try to get our(anu's n emma's) bike pumped but tak jadi because there was a big fat X in front of a picture of a bicycle.
however, jasmine and anu and liyana did their grocery shopping. which reminds me i have to go to pak n sav tomorrow to get biscuits to eat. wen im lazy to go for breakfast :) then we had pizza for dinner :) meat lovers and cheese lovers. now im drinking milo =)
im goin to read finish my books and sleep. tomorrow my first class is only at 11am!! woohoo!!
Pls pray that I would be able to find a flat/house to move into next year. Thanks.
