I do think that leaving Malaysia for the second time is harder than the first. But after thinking about it, its actually the process of leaving.
The day you actually realize that you have not got much longer time in Malaysia untill the day you finally reach here are the worst days ever. You know what to expect here hence you don't really look forward to coming back to study. To me the idea of seeing the friends that I have not seen for 3 months is also not that appealing.
To know that there will be no next week to make more plans or there will be no Chinese New Year celebration and ang pows or that there will be lots of CNY 'makan'. Man! That can really get you down. Its not until you have met some friends. Until you have gotten back to the routine. Until you are looking forward to meet old and new friends. That is when it gets better. But still, like now, after hearing about today's makan it can still get you down.
The best thing to do is to watch Prince Who Turns Into Frog and cry at the sad parts. Then sleep.
Farewell!
