Sadly the end is here

I skipped 4 out of 5 of my classes today. This was because I was so immersed in the storybook. Agatha Christie you know! But this is soooo very bad. I will make myself go to class for the rest of the 6 weeks.

Yesterday was the very first day of Mosaic. It went quite well. We were on time which is good. We started with dinner. Followed by worship, an opening prayer in Maori, a testimony, show & tell, talk and more worship. Mer, Jas and Wei Zheng came. A few people from YAG came as well. I think that was to support Lily.
I don't know why but during the Mosaic meetings these past months, I really felt like I belonged. Maybe because it was in English. I think I didn't feel as comfortable this in the Chinese service.I want to talk about the holidays and what I did for the last couple of days, but I am too lazy. I shall however tell you what I will be (hopefully) doing.

Wash clothes
Showering
Keep previous washed clothes
Arrange notes and tidy up table
Study for econs (test on thursday)

Seems easy right? But let me tell you that the last two task is not that easy.

Dilemma

The below would be a number of issues that I want to share or discuss with you.

Look!! I have used almost 100GB worth of internet. I'm prety sure that sentence is probably wrong in the IT world. But you do get what I mean right? ;o)
Is that scary or what?? I know I have downloaded two seasons of ER. One season of Two and A Half Men (to realise that it was the wrong season) and also a number episodes of Numb3rs. Am currently downloading ER Season 4. I need to study and stop watching ER.

The three of us (Jas, Li and I) were discussing about blogging. It is true that once you know somebody is reading, you will automatically start tapis-ing the content of your blog. Which means to sieve. Like sieving the flour. It was just a thought.

Today I woke up for no reasong at all at 5.30. I couldn't get back to sleep so I went to toilet. Lied down on the bed for another half an hour before coming back to my room to read storybook. I was sleeping in Jas' room. I couldn't stand the hardness of the floor so I went back to Jas' room around 7.08am and on the light. Thank goodness she didn't wake up :D Fell asleep while reading. My speciality.

Tonight we are going out for an Italian dinner in the city :)

I haven't been studying. I don't know why but I don't really care. I think its because I just don't want to think about it. I am so going to die.

About my dilemma. My NZ church is starting a new service at 5pm for English speakers. First service on 9th of September. I volunteered to serve. However, I need to talked to the leader of Praise and Worship team from the Cantonese Congregation and the Sunday School as it is hard to serve two congregations at once. The thing is, I feel bad. Because I just join the Praise and Worship Team, I feel bad for leaving them so fast. Especially since they have lost a few members already.

I have another physiotherapy appointment in 1.5 hours. I should study. But I know I won't.

ARGH!!

Chocolate mud cake and more!

On Monday, after waiting 45 minutes (!!!) for Jas at the optometrist, I was too lazy to cook so we planned to go to Asha (a Chinese restaurant) next to Riccarton Mall. Before that, because it was too early, we went walking around in the Mall. I saw a really nice hoodie, $40. I'm waiting for my $100 mall voucher that I would get from the Health and Wellbeing Study. =D

Jas saw this really Yummy Chocolate Mud Cake at Divine's and she contemplated for quite a long time whether to buy or not. It was $15 and I thought it was worth it because you can't get such cheap cakes in M.
Finally, as you all suspected we bought it =) Yup, I shared with Jas the cost.
We bought it from this place called Divine and the cake was really yummy!! If you ever go there you should try it =))

I seriously love this picture!! Don't you think my photography skills are good? *beams*

Did I mention that we will be going to Anu's place for dinner? Her parents are coming down and have invited us to dinner. It will be really cool to finally see her parents cause I've heard so much about them. At the same time, its a bit scary. To me la.

My keyboard thingy is going all right. Usually during practice time, we have 'sharing'. Its my turn this week. I don't know what am I going to share about. I am just going to go with the flow =)

I just had a test yesterday. Sure fail one. I have another test next week plus an assignment due. Then I would have to be rajin and study for my econs exam so that I won't fail.

Thats all I wanted to let out for the mo.

p.s. Do Do Do take my test in the previous post!! =) I will post the answers after my exam to give people time to do it =D

p.s.s. Is it possible to be a Christian and not believe in hell?

Clean & Clear

Jas and I went to look at a house yesterday. Jas' family friend's (in Wellington) cousin is looking for 2 tenants. His wife and 3 kids will be coming down in August to join him. The rent is $200 per week including everything. Food, electricity, laundry etc. He said we will be like family to each other so no need to berkira sangat.

So, the deal is pretty good. I guess we will be taking up on his offer. It is not that far from uni. We will most probably be biking (cycling) as a form of transport unless Jas or I gets a car which I think will not happen for another very long time. However, biking is good exercise :) And it would be the only exercise I would ever have.

Since we won't be moving in until next year, he asked us to look for short term tenants for him. I advertised on trademe and already somebody text me about a room today :) I passed on the information and the person will have a look first on Sunday and see whether would it suit him or not. Hopefully it will jadi. Then we don't have to pay $100 instead over the summer =D

Last Sunday, there was a Mother's Day service at church. People were invited to bring flowers for mothers who have passed away and the flower arrangment ladies will arrange the flowers during the service. It was really a cool idea. And the flowers were beautiful. Unfortunately, my camera was just dying of battery so I didn't manage to take any photos. But I took a picture of the stage.
from the left: baptism pool (but u can't really see it), guitar, keyboard, screen (there's another smaller one at the back of the wall), bass, drum, piano.
there would usually be four backup singers. two males. two females.
the worship leader and speaker will be standing by the side so as to not block the screen.

the really cool thing that i like is the hanging mikes. can u see it?
*notice lots of white hair?*

Pastor Jack said that they are praying about having an English service in the evening around 5pm soon. I can't wait!! English =)

I was in the mood to take photographs on Sunday. So here they are. I'll try to add colourful narratives.

This is the green bus that I take to church every week:
Leaves around the bus stop: They look quite pretty right? against the beautiful blue sky. I think the first one is nicer :) Nicer sky colour and nicer leaves colour. I took all this with the normal shots not macro. My camera is good aye? Haha. Perasaan.

I was inside the bus and I thought this was interesting: although now, I don't know what attracted me.
It looks kinda cool though, don't you agree? :D

Usually, Sundays is the quietest day in the week but somehow last Sunday, the street was quite busy. We have our very own Jellie Park! Whatever that means.
tata

Btw, my soon-to-be lanlord is very nice. He brought us curry chicken just now!! =) So happy. No need to cook tomorrow and got curry. Yes! Yes! Yes!

p.s. i love this album lots. YL introduced it to me. only a few songs are not my type.
Dictionary:
berkira sangat = count so much
jadi = happen
Perasaan - an expression to describe someone who self-praise (alot)

whee~

i find this sign: ~ funny. lol.

ok i am soooo suppose to continuing studying but I haven't been. I've got two test next week. Econs and a finance paper. Econ on Tuesday and Finance on Wednesday. Horrible. Which is why I am suppose to be studying. Sigh.

Do you know that I have been attending Cantonese Praise and Worship practice on Saturdays. It is a long name. I just say Worship practice though. Its called 'keng pai chan mei' in Cantonese. Or something like that. I've been playing the keyboard because its so much easier than piano :D I was actually scheduled for the beginning of June to give me a month to 'practice'. But one of the keyboard player is leaving for a trip this Friday and they only just remembered about it. So, they asked me to fill in. Well, of course I said yes. Cannot say no right? So I'm going to be awful early on Saturday to practice.

Thats basically my announcement.

I'm suppose to skype with Wai Yue and Yin at 9.15pm but it is already 9.18pm. Ish. Really Malaysian ler they all. I saw Wai Yue online though at 9.14pm. Just before the clock turned 9.15pm. Wakaka. This skyping thing tonight means I will not get much study done as well.

Tomorrow Liyana is staying over cause she has exam at night and she doesn't want to walk back alone. Cool. I'm a bit tired of Jas. Hahhaha. Just kidding la~

~~~ that sign represents fun is it? ~la~la~la~
lol
wai yue's calling me now. ta~
