I hope its going to be a nice long post

cause I woke up so early and I have been meaning to update

So we'll start from the beginning..

[although most likely it won't be in chronological order]

in the month of december, the family came to visit : )

emma and thomas enjoying the segway after the disappointment of no ATV

although after watching trauma and the ATV accident kinda put me off it now for a while

there was me, bro, mother and lm

it was quite fun

stressful at times but i think we mostly enjoyed ourselves

it was quite funny bumping into uncle paul and family at the geyser!

that was the only person we bumped into whom we know the entire trip

in april three of my friends graduated at the same time

i should probably mention now that i am not planning to attend my graduation. i know that my parents spent loads on me studying and that is my final goal but i don't really see a point. my mother already told me its my life. i don't mind getting the gown to pose and take pictures but i really can't be bothered doing the whole ceremony. i have actually been to 3 graduations! apparently (after i told mother about my plan), she told me father didn't do it as well so i'm really continuing on the tradition. heh.

Then one fine evening when my flatmate was working and i was procrastinating i decorated our toilet door with something useful

also a quite good friend of mine got married!

and she's the same age as me!

Mosaic had its bbq at groynes park in february

i think everybody had a good time

we played games and had yummy food

mosaic has been going relatively well. although we're still quite small but i'm sure God has his plan for us.

on the third of may a couple of us went kayaking down the avon river.

it was extremely good fun. had a blister on my thumb but was worth it.
had lunch at noodle house after that.

i didn't notice that the picture was not coloured. if u can't see clearly the first picture is of me laughing really crazily. we were trying to take a group picture but i guessed the kayak just got out of hand. haha!

on wednesday afternoons i spend babysitting this little girl :)

i know her parents through icf and the mother wanted to attend a course in laidlaw college on wednesday afternoons and since i was so free with only classes on tuesdays i volunteered

recently she has started saying my name so much which is hillarious

although today is going to be my second to last week :(
sadness!
i miss en and children so much

sadly, i don't have any pictures of icf. icf have been going really well at the start of the year. although now numbers are continuingly dropping, we still have faith that everything will be back after the busyness of the semester ending. its sadly going to be my last year with icf as a student. providing i pass all my courses. icf is cooking this week and God gave eunice to organise it! i'm just the driver and atm. haha.

i've also just helped out with the oscar programme. an off school care and recreation programme. so fun hanging and chilling out with the children! makes me miss vbs and the plentiful supply of babies and children in M!

i don't really know what's up with the hand thing

so the girl on the left was moving to wellington and since she is going to drive all the way up to picton the girl on the right asked the bottom three to join them on this exciting adventure!

look at how char's hand just came up like that!!! it looks awesome except of the dashboard above my head. and the other two is in the picture far far behind =D

we left on a wednesday and came back on friday. we stayed a night in kaikoura then drove to picton to say goodbye to the other car where we then spend the afternoon in blenheim and another night in kaikoura before coming back to civilisation on friday. that was really an awesomo time. it happened only two weeks ago :)




thats basically the gist of what have been happening since my proper update last july. mian that was long.


am gutted that two people are moving away from christchurch


last week of uni is next week. i love this season when all the trees' leaves are falling and it looks so beautiful. uni looks exceptionally awesome during this season :)
i'm still quite uncertain about my future. to stay or not. am praying for God to show me the way. :)

Bloggers and what nots

I’ve just been stalking reading the blogs of people from my church back in Malaysia. Its been such a long time since I’ve done it. Normally I do it when I’m really free or wanting to procrastinate. Its been really nice reading the blogs and finding out what’s happening back home.

There’s a few relationship that I want to ask about though and my brother unfortunately is not at home at the mo. I think. Or he’s just ignoring my messages.

I also found a couple of NZ's church friends' blogs.

I’ve been thinking about baptism lately. I searched for baptism in my blog and found out that Becky did actually asked me about being baptised. Kinda funny that none of us remembered.

So.. when Pastor Jack told me about being in the committee, he said I had get baptise as soon as possible. I know I have been saying I am ready for the past two years and now I’m going to take a step forward. I’ve talked to mum about this and she said she was going to talk to Uncle Seng Kooi. I feel scared and yet excited at the same time. Not too sure what’s the outcome as mum haven’t come back to me.

Went for Talent Night last night dragging along Mer, Cal, Char and Tom. I think some of it was torture for them and I feel bad. I guess the performances was all right. But if you don’t know the people performing I guess it would be kinda boring for them. Especially for the ‘kwai lohs’ as there were quite a number of Malay songs. Overall, it was all right I guess. It started 45 minutes later too.

I just haven’t had the mood to blog this past few weeks. Don’t really have the mood or topic to write about as well. Its amazing how some people can write so much. I’ve also reduce my weekly emails to monthly emails. I’ve got lots to do this weeks of holidays. I have done some but only a few. All today.

• Wash kitchen utensils, re-arrange kitchen
• Wash bedsheet, duvet covers, pillow covers and put new sheets and covers
• Clean/Tidy room
• Clean/Tidy study table
• File notes
• Income tax
• Meeting minutes
• ICF email
• Wash bathroom
• 332 case study

In no particular order. Today I woke up early again (maybe I’m getting old), finish reading “The Sacrifice by Beverly Lewis” and showered. Ate lunch and went online until now. That’s almost 5 hours? My laptop is getting pretty hot. Might wash and put new sheets after this.

I better sign off now. Cheerios and take caaaare!

p.s. It has been raining for the past few days. Kinda nice.

peanut butter is the true compatibility test

It's true. You see I've asked a few friends of mine. The one that liked Peanut Butter Crunchy has almost the same traits as me. The ones that likes Peanut Butter Smooth is the opposite of me.

Its hard studying for the whole day. And I'm kind of addicted to Heroes. Jas is much much much much much much worse. She's like 2 episodes ahead of me. Before that she was like 5. Its because she's kind of scared so she stopped for a while. So funny.

I did my ECON 105 online mutlti quiz just now. Which was good. I've been procrastinating for too long. Oh btw, Shiraz was asking me about my SPM results and I digged it out.

Add Maths [Calculus] - A2
English for Science and Technology - B3
Bahasa Melayu [Malay] - B4
History - D7
Physics - D7
Biology - E8

I know. Its bad. Let me discuss them. The thing is I didn't realise that I would get an A for Moral. Most especially not an A1. I thought I would get an A1 for add maths. That was disappointing. Also I can't believe my physics is better than my biology. And that I did not fail any papers especially science. God must really be helping me.

I just thought I would share it with you. I'm planning to go to Countdown at 2am later. Also, don't know whether would I be able to make it. Its just some crazy stress release idea. For me.

I think Barney and Friends are very comforting, don't you?

p.s. i'm now into 11 series. 12 counting the one on TV. thank goodness internet at home is unlimited :D

Bersatu Games Day 2

I was the admin officer in charge of badminton today kan. I did not really arrive very late. But it was really a total chaos this morning. An administration officer job was just to collect the score sheets and sign them and make sure everybody else signed. Very easy right?

However, when I arrived in the hall, everything was still chaos. The person in charge of this sports is somebody from Lincoln. He was very unorganized. To me ler. He's the one who is suppose to have located the umpires and linesmen and have assigned them. But NO. When everybody was ready to go, umpire tak de. Kiam Lang Gin you know.

So we practically have to beg people to umpire for us. Then in the end it was the admin people who susuned everything. One of us also had to go find people for each round which was stupid. On top of that the jadual was in stupid codes. Not in each contingent's name but in a STUPID CODE. And the contingent's name wasn't very long either. At the most 5 letters. Kenapa sangat susah ke nak taip lima huruf? Mungkin ada sebab yang munasabah kot.

Then come to the double matches we have more problems. Because most of the players are playing in either Double Men or Double Women AND Double Mix, there were many clashes. And there were like a few people who had to play 3 times in a row which is very tiring. And not fair.

Actually I didn't really do much. I don't know why. Everybody else just automatically took charge. So I just sat there. I tried to help but nobody seems to need my help. So not my fault either. The other three admin officers 'under' me really worked hard though. Really kesian. They were really pening looking at the schedule. No point thanking them here since they will never ever read my blog.

Oh well. Tomorrow we have 40 matches to be played in 6 hours with only 2 courts. I also don't know how can we finish it. I just want to lie down in my bed now and do nothing.

Seriously!

I really do want to blog.

Seriously.

But my stupid internet is sooooooo slow and I can't upload any pictures. It is getting on my nerve. I suppose I could use uni's computer but I am too lazy. If I am rajin I might use uni's internet instead of my broadband.

Anywayz, these are a couple of things that I noticed:

1. Kiwis are lazier than I am. They say Yum instead of Yummy.
2. It is getting colder.
3. I haven't done anything else besides watching ER and numb3rs and reading since my exam.
4. My room was untidy. Now it is half untidy and half not.
5. I found out that quite a few of YAG people has blogs. Sadly it is all in Chinese. Hopefully, they will never find mine.
6. On dancing - "If one was going to spend so much time moving about, one might as well be doing something useful, like mending a fence or fixing a roof. - Benjamin Rowland, Earl of Winchfield from The Incomparable Cassandra" I thought that was such a true statement although it might not apply to Now time. I also thought 'moving about' was funny!
7. It is hard to organize an event for ICF.
8. I might be getting a sore throat soon.

Eric Kirton

Eric Kirton, a well known man among his circle of friends and friends of his friends and faithfull Christian passed away on Saturday 5 am (Malaysian time).

I don't know 'know' this man. But he was a camp speaker at one of the camps that I attended. He also spoke a few times at our church. He was a good speaker. I don't fall asleep and its usually interesting coupled with a few jokes.

After I got the email about Eric Kirton from Nic Ng, I did feel sad. But not sad sad if u know what I mean since I didn't really know this man at all.

So I just wanted to say something about him.
